Sometimes a project comes along that challenges you at every single frame—and this was exactly one of those.

I had the incredible opportunity to work with Mina Efremova on the official music video for "King of the Game." She brought the script, the ideas, and the creative vision; I brought the visuals to life—from the storyboard and animatic to the final animation.

🖊️ The entire process was a mix of motion graphics and hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation—with absolutely no use of artificial intelligence. This was a requirement from the client that I wholeheartedly embraced. Every frame was drawn by hand in Krita, a meticulous, artisanal process that demands patience, consistency, and a deep love for the craft. It takes days of work to see just a few seconds of animation come to life.

This is the kind of work that reminds me why I chose this field. Creating something from scratch, frame by frame, and watching the story move is one of the most rewarding experiences animation has to offer.

Working with Mina was a fantastic opportunity—she knows exactly what she wants and trusts the creative process. That combination makes all the difference.
